The Great Temple of Balthazar had some people selling it for cheaper than I wanted to sell it. Kamadan is one of the busiest trading cities I know, so it seemed most logical to go over there.
To go in more of a detail with what happened... I'm not sure if I was typing or had my hands on the mouse when the mouse started freaking out. All the efforts to try and stop it didn't quite work out - I tried moving it side to side, lift it, put it down, etc. I wasn't at it for very long, as I was getting creeped out by what was happening. As soon as I pressed 'esc' to cancel trading, it stopped immediately.
I took a screenshot of the ranger and all that just incase, but I doubt it'll be of any use.

It's been a habit for a long time most peeps I know also screeny trades.
Nope BUT they do say to take screen shots and send them to them.
I might not click accept if it's being remotely controlled from another compy
I know it's a mouse problem I already said that It was just weird I came across a posted situation so thought I'd add my 2c.
Peace out.

I was about to make a thread about this but seeing as this one is still alive i'll post my incident too.
Was just in Kamadan USA District 2 and there was someone buying golden rin relics and advertised open trade. I found it a bit strange someone in Kamadan was buying rin relics but it saved me loading into Doomlore so i opened trade with the player. For a good minute atleast they did nothing, then my mouse cursor started flickering between the usual GW icon and the default white "desktop" icon.
It wasn't moving around my screen or anything but it was flickering and i just closed down GW. Restarted it and changed my password, paranoia ftw!, but with recent events concerning hacked accounts i found it strange. My mouse has never done anything like this before.
Its a G5 logitech 2007 edition laser mouse. Quite possibly the best gaming mouse created and never has it done this before, and no i didnt have any background programs running that would cause this behaviour.
Anyway as i said i thought i'd post in here and let everyone know that the OP isn't the only one to encounter this issue recently.

Adja, do you happen to remember the profession or the name of the guy you were trading with? I took a screenshot right after my trade but it wouldn't serve much purpose here, seeing I'll need to cover his name up.
Also, I'm beginning to think less and less that this is a problem with my mouse. Being more useless than typical, I've played Guild Wars good 10 hours over last couple of days and never experience something like that again.
Can someone who was hacked recently recall if something like this happened to him/her?

Since Anet is randomly banning people trading large sums of money between their own accounts, I'll make sure I screenshot every large transaction on both sides.
I won't lose my account because it got flagged and stamped as a goldbuyer/goldseller without harassing support.

lmao...fitting ;-p
I used to have problems with my old mouse, it would randomly spaz out and even get me killed sometimes -_-
Found out, my mouse was getting old and dirty on the inside so i bought a new mouse (well technically a x-mas prezzie) xDD It has been fine ever since!
I recomend the guild wars mouse its cool ^__^
As for weird trades (as the topic states) I have had a couple of people try and fool me, by making me click accept before they put anything in (they claim they are in a hurry)
I think some people will just keep trade open, thinking the other person will make a mistake and click accept or will get inpatient and try to hurry things along...all sorts of reasons.
You just got to be careful and don't fall for any tricks.
Reading some more posts, here could be a theory.....opening trade and not doing anything with it for a few minutes could produce maybe a bug...one of which makes your cursor spaz out, maybe some people know this and are trying their luck that it will click accept or something. Just a random theory though maybe worth thinking about. (if enough reports of the strange mouse behaviour when in trade for over a minute poor in)

I doubt that. I trade with a friend on a regular basis and she is sometimes slow to put items in the window. Other times we leave the trade window open as we show each other our stuff. In these cases the trade window can be open for several minutes without any activity and I've never seen a mouse spazz.
It's possible that this is a new hack and it's also possible that it's just spazzy mice. I'll keep an open mind until more info comes in.
So far 3 people have reported this activity in this thread. Do all 3 of you remember your trading partner? I suggest getting together with each other in PMs and comparing notes. Was it the same guy? Different characters on same account? If not, were the guys all in the same guild?

Nope i don't remember their name but i remember it was a male warrior, and i feel like an idiot for not taking a screeny at the time. I guess i was too focused on closing GW and changing my password ASAP.
